Anonymous asked: You totally don't sound bitter, or bitchy, that reply made so much sense. The jokes are overused anyways

oh thank god because i was a bit worried that it looked as if i was being bitchy while i’m just tired and annoyed because those jokes are everywhere but are never funny

you’re giving us away as the bitter old grandparents of the fandom omg “GET OFF MY LAWN STOP MAKING THOSE DUCK JOKES” *chases with stick*

“thats actually me,” she says while knitting yet another scarf with Will’s quote on it

Anonymous asked: Why don't you like the Mango/Duck jokes? It's totally your opinion, but I'm just curious as to why you don't like them

duck jokes were funny for like 2 months after CA came out

mango jokes were funny for like 2 months after CoFA came out

it’s been almost 3 years since CA, and 2 years since CoFA

these jokes haven’t been funny for a long time now

i totally get that there are people who are reading the book JUST NOW but for gods sake THE DUCK JOKES ARE NOT AND HAVE NEVER BEEN THAT HILARIOUS TO CLOG THE WILL HERONDALE AND JACE HERONDALE/WAYLAND TAGS WITH PHOTOS OF GIANT INFLATABLE DUCKS OK also whenever there’s a popular post including ducks theres always someone who feels the need to add a caption “NEVER TRUST A DUCK!!!” or “WILL WOULD CRY” or “POOR HERONDALES” or some other nonsense and this is just…ugh… idk a bit embarrassing tbh i actually feel embarrassed

it’s like Peeta and bread jokes and Finnick and sugarcubes jokes

it gets old after like 10 minutes and gets annoying really really quickly
